The World of the Celestials

A transformative, 3D environment

A realtime ritual environment that evolves through fog, light, movement, and spatial transformation to suggest transcendence.

Role

Built the world and spatial language

Creative Direction, Technical Direction, Worldbuilding & Composition

Scope

Blender to AI to Unity

Moved from Blender ideation into AI-assisted motion studies and a final Unity environment with living cubes, volumetric fog, dynamic lighting, and a breathing coffin centrepiece.

Results

A living ritual environment

Created a coherent world of emptiness and transformation that feels both spiritually charged and spatially alive.

Light developed The World of the Celestials as a realtime environment built around atmosphere, motion, and transformation. The project began in Blender, where he established the visual language, then moved into Unity, where he translated that direction into a living world with timed lighting, volumetric fog, camera movement, and reactive scene elements.

He treated the environment as an authored sequence rather than a static space. Falling marks, shifting window light, hovering floor cubes, and the breathing coffin were all used to control pacing and tension. Key beats, including the coffin’s ascent and the formation of the halo, were staged to create a sense of ritual and release.

The result is a world that feels deliberate, not decorative. It shows Light’s ability to combine visual direction with technical implementation and to shape digital space as an experience with a clear emotional rhythm.
